This degree allows you to gain the skills, knowledge and understanding demanded by employers. Covering all of the major disciplines in the creative sector, this programme allows you to develop the skills needed in today’s complex media environment. We
teach by using real business scenarios, so you’ll draft marketing plans for actual companies – which have in the past included Aston Villa Football Club and National Express - and get experience in our in-house marketing agency, The Link. In your third year,
you’ll undertake a paid work placement, and you’ll also have the chance to enter a range of competitions to enhance your experience. The course has been recognised by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, demonstrating its high-quality content.

facilities at the Concept Factory, our purpose-built social space for enterprising students. Birmingham City University have our own dedicated internal Marketing Agency, The Link. Run by undergraduate students, the members of the agency serve real clients
in response to a live brief.
You will not need any specific equipment to study on this course.

There are many opportunities to gain skills and experiences on this course: Undertake a year’s work placement and a twelve-month exchange programme in the second year at one of our international partner institutes, which is an excellent opportunity. Take

After the course
