More about this course

Recognising how the worlds of public relations, media and politics all constantly interact, this degree combines the development of practical skills and knowledge of public relations with an exploration of key aspects of politics and political communications. PR is about creating and enhancing the reputations of clients and companies. This degree uses live campaigns for real clients, an optional work placement and industry guest speakers to develop campaigns, build portfolios of practical work and create links with prospective employers. This degree immerses you in the exciting media environment and also enables you to study several aspects of politics, from political practices in the UK, Europe and America, to an in-depth exploration of political messaging. If you have a keen interest in the communications aspects of politics and want to enhance your understanding of how a range of organisations communicate with their audiences, then this is the degree for you.
