Part of the triple-accredited Henley Business School, the ICMA Centre is the product of the first active collaboration between the securities industry and a university finance department. The ICMA Centre provides uniquely designed undergraduate degrees
in finance, integrating finance theory with practice, achieved through the use of three dealing rooms all equipped with Thomson Reuters and the latest industry simulation software. The ICMA Centre maintains excellent links with industry evidenced by continued
support by the International Capital Market Association (the trade association and market regulator for member organisations active in the global securities markets). This provides us with a key link to the majority of leading financial institutions. The Centre
has accreditation from key organisations including being a CFA Program Partner and a CISI Centre of Excellence (2014), which provides many opportunities for our students.

rooms that are the largest and best equipped of any European business school. This enables you to demonstrate to employers a practical understanding of financial markets.
Courses are divided in three parts over three years and are made up of a mixture of compulsory and optional modules. Typically you will take between 6 modules per year and will have more optional modules as your programme progresses.
After the course
The Centre provides many opportunities for you to gain real world experience and insight into the industry, in particular through our Career Development Unit. We run presentations and workshops led by industry professionals and recruiters and each year
a panel of alumni are invited to share their experience and give tips to undergraduates on getting a job in the financial markets. The Unit will help you to research and apply for opportunities to gain relevant work experience, including summer internships
with investment banks and other firms. Our students have completed internships and obtained graduate jobs with a very wide range of firms including BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs, Nomura, Rabobank and Standard Chartered Bank. The ICMA Centre as part of Henley
Business School has an excellent employment rate. We are seeing that the types of organisations that are looking to attract graduates are changing from very large banks to a wide selection of suppliers, specialists and boutique service providers. You will
gain not only the knowledge and skills to give you a head start in securing a role in the financial markets but will also be well-equipped to gain entry into a range of other professions. Our graduates have also secured roles in professional services firms,
insurance companies, global consulting organisations and as trainee management accountants.
